Finance - Overview
The Finance Department at Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) oversees the university’s financial planning, management, and sustainability. Led by the Financial Controller under the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration (DVC-FA), the department ensures that all financial operations are conducted efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with regulations.
The department manages revenue, budgeting, payroll, and procurement, and provides strategic guidance to support decision-making across faculties, institutes, and directorates. Through these efforts, the Finance Department safeguards the university’s resources and enables RUCU to achieve its mission of delivering quality education and ensuring long-term operational stability.
